The 15 ECTS validation hours into an official degree is really no different than the maximum number of credits allowed here in the US for transfer into most Masters-level programs. 15 ECTS is roughly the equivalent of 7.5 credits (2 to 3 courses). This validation scheme could be worth it for those looking for transfer into a Masters degree in the UK but it would likely be best for those in the US to continue to use foreign credential evaluators who equate the propio to graduate study credits with the current ENEB/Isabel I arrangement if they wish to do the same for US schools.
