Just saw that EIU will have an on-campus partnership with a French State recognized degree granting institution to award both the EIU ACBSP BBA or MBA and corresponding French State-Recognized RNCP Level 6 or 7 degrees from ÉSTIAM.
On 23 July 2026, EIU-Paris announced a campus-in-campus partnership with ÉSTIAM (a French state-recognized degree-granting institution), part of the Paris Education Group (PEG), a network with university partners in 37 countries.
Beginning with the February 2027 intake, students in the on-campus (at Estiam) BBA and MBA programs in Paris will earn a dual qualification: EIU's ACBSP-accredited BBA or MBA together with French RNCP Level 6 or Level 7 titles awarded through ÉSTIAM which are French State Recognized Degrees.
Those ÉSTIAM RNCP qualifications are state-recognized in France, meaning graduates of these on-campus programs will receive both the EIU diploma and a French state-recognized qualification through the partnership.
This means students can graduate with a French state-recognized RNCP qualification alongside an EIU BBA or MBA carrying programmatic accreditation from ACBSP, a CHEA-recognized accrediting organization in the United States.
Doesn't make EIU, State Recognized however (which they've never claimed), and their other degree programs are not state-recognized, regardless of whether they have ACBSP or not, they are institutional awards, and some have the additional programmatic ACBSP accreditation.

This is similar to how IBES offers dual programs with Recognized Universities such as UCAM, UTAMED, and VERN. Keeping in mind that IBES has the same legal framework and registration in Paris as EIU, but with BAC accreditation and French Qualiopi certfication from the French Ministry of Labour (for training programs, not degrees).
EIU has also had a partnership with PPA in the past to allow EIU MBA graduates to transfer 50% of their Institutional MBA (non-ACBSP) credits to earn a French State recognized degree.
Maybe in the future this kind of partnership can be extended to online students. EIU has a way to go to gain full recognition, but they seem to be trying.
