On either plan, one could complete the bio degree and not even have 100/200 level labs done

*Not true* If you look at the COSC Concentration Plan of Study, it requires two biology labs. However, they may be lower level.

If you look at page 52 of their current catalog, they require 2 upper level labs if you are using the GRE route:
The GRE Subject Test in Biology, evaluated at 24 credits (15 lower, 9 upper), and at least 12 additional credits that must include two upper level laboratory courses.

Note that both the BA from TESC and BS from COSC are only concentrations NOT majors.
