Maybe I am confused but I think the 6 credit humanities clep would count as 6 credits under your humanities section.

( Credits used to satisfy requirements in one area may simultaneously satisfy requirements in another area)

So your 12 credits in Humanities would be :

Ethics in America DSST - 3 credits
Humanities CLEP - 6 credits
Intro to World Religions CLEP - 3 credits

But if you are getting a depth in humanities then one test or class would have to be upper level credits of 3 credits.
