Firstly, I admire your efforts to stick with this despite your setbacks. That is half the battle.
I successfully completed both Business Law 1 and 2. They are two very different animals. I found Bus Law 2 to be quite tough, wide and deep. The Barron's book was critical for this test however I can see how it might be easy to get lost in all information. For Bus Law 1, I'd suggest using the small green book put out by REA called Essentials. You can easily read Bus Law 1 and 2 in a few days and I would suggest you read both. I'd also suggest using Pass Your Class. Although it is apparently offered as a study guide for the Bus Law 2 DSST exam, I found it quite useful for the CLEP exam.
As other's have mentioned, check out the Standard Deviants business law video. Dorky as hell, but it will give you the edge.
