For anybody taking these exams who is interested in a widely accepted distance law degree, I was just accepted into the University of London External System using my Excelsior College AS in Liberal Arts degree as the entrance degree. It wasn't on their list of degrees so it had to go to the Special Admissions Panel, but it ended up being accepted. Many Commonwealth jurisdictions and US states accept the degree since it's considered a qualifying degree for the bar of England and Wales. For example, it appears as though an additional one year of ABA study should enable a person to write the bar exam in New York, one year of ABA or California accredited study (California allows distance classes) should allow a person to it in California, etc.
