Daniellevine,
You've hit on a wonderful resource I've been using to achieve my own education at an extremely reasonable cost.
Instead of searching each individual college, most CA community college districts have their own website that you can search for courses offered by all their member colleges which cuts down the time quite a bit. These are the ones I've used for most of my classes:
Los Angeles Community College District: LAColleges.net: Degree search results at Los Angeles Community Colleges. Register at Los Angeles Community College District - Home Page
San Diego Community College District: http://www.sdccd.edu
South Orange County Community College District: South Orange County Community College District - Welcome!
North Orange County Community College District: Welcome to the NOCCCD
You can google other CA school districts as well.
This resource allows you to find online classes offered by colleges across California, searchable by subject/keyword, degree level, delivery method, term, etc. Please note that this is not limited only to community college courses, but also graduate/professional courses as well: California Virtual Campus » Students » CVC Course Catalog.
Hope this helps! Great post!
Helen
