Need 6 SS credits, seeking opinions on which CLEP(s) to take, etc.

I would like to take Social Science & History, get the 6 credits and be done, but there are a couple of problems with this:

I'm pretty good with History stuff, but weak in Social Science. I bought the 2010 Official Clep Study guide, so there is that to study, but no InstantCert flash cards available or else I would get a subscription to those.

Social Sciences & History shouldn't be a problem for you. I was in your position (good with history, weak on social sciences); all I did was review IC's sociology cards once or twice. Scored a 76. (Oh, I had also taken Introduction to Business, which helped me a bit with the economic questions on SS&H. IC has cards for that too, but they're less helpful for this exam than the Sociology cards.)

If you study a fair bit over the next month, you'll be fine! If you're unsure about paying for IC (very worth it), your library should have a sociology textbook available.
