I know I have added to it several times, BUT (maybe it is my advanced age
milelol: ) I can eventually learn enough on Aleks to assess at 70%. To do that I need lots of notes and reminders when I am taking an assessment. When I had to go take the Praxis II in math part of my problem was I knew what things were, but I couldn't remember the exact fomula (is it y=mx+b or X=my+b) or I remembered most of it and one little thing would make me wrong. I could have studied for 2 months putting in a total of 200 hrs to learn Intermediate Algebra or I could put in 60 grueling hours in 2-3 weeks and get the credit. I prefer to just get it done. I know I want to teach math, but I only have to be able to understand how to do it I don't have to memorize everthing. I will always have a book to look at and only one concept at a time to teach.
