May wind up being more expensive, but is it possible?
Anyone do it?
I was thinking of doing clovis, Aleks, and straighterline for all my Gen.Ed. then transfer to empire state, then to SUNY Binghampton. Both are in the SUNY system, but Binghampton is ranked in the top 50 Unis in the country.
There are a lot of things you'd need to check into to confirm it all works as you'd like for it to. Confirm that Aleks / Straighterline credits will be accepted at both ESU and SUNY-B. Just not sure how many schools have jumped on that bandwagon yet. Those that are ACE reviewed will be easier to transfer I imagine.
Then confirm that credits from Clovis and ESU will be accepted at SUNY-B. You'd like to think that RA = automatic transfer, but usually transferred classes have to match the content of courses offered at the new institution in order for them to transfer as equals. Otherwise they may come in as elective credit, or not at all.
You'll also have some sort of residency requirement to meet at SUNY-B, typically 25% of the program.
Good luck with it.
I m edumakated thanx to distunce lerning.
