ENEB New Master Thread

I can use the IEE Evaluation of the MBA+Master as a Graduate Certificate with GPA
And the ECE Evaluation of the 2nd Master as an Equivalent to a US RA Bachelor's (without GPA), and I think this will work for my purpose.

This is an interesting point, because for admissions to most Grad schools they require an US RA Bachelors and minimum of 3.0 GPA and they wont even look at the 1-10 Spanish equivalent.  

But perhaps the IEE Evaluation with GPA would work but it explicitly says its evulated as a Certificate not a Degree.  

The question is would you be able to submit the ECE RA for admission and then submit a IEE eval to fulfill the GPA requirement?

So when I spoke with the Grad school I am interested in, the person told me to skip the ECE report as it has no GPA, and to simply submit the IEE report as a Grad Cert with the GPA.  His reasoning was the grad cert is a higher award than the bachelor's degree they require.  

I guess this will really depend on the institution we are applying to, if they will accept a higher award or not.  I am thinking it's worth a shot to show the ECE US RA Bachelor's degree equivalency, then maybe another IEE Report with GPA for the same credential to accompany it, or use a second ENEB Master's as the higher award with the GPA.

It can help demonstrate that

1. I hold the equivalent of a US RA Bachelor's degree
2. The grades were even evaluated at a higher than required GPA for a higher level award: US Grad Cert
3. I hold another Graduate Certificate with a significant GPA to demonstrate my proficiency

The point of a GPA requirement is that it helps the school predict if a student will be able to learn and handle the coursework. Having higher than required GPA for higher qualifications speaks volumes. 

Personally, I think a school that won't go with this reasoning is not worth my time.

Good idea thanks for sharing, I thought it would work in the opposite as they would look at it as they were looking just for the RA GPA, I'll try this route also.

Now that we have confirmation the Unimarconi offer is a Master Universitario di Primo Livello I started the process of asking UOC if that is good enough to do a doctorate there. I say started the process because after filling out the online form I had to go through 3 different craptchas before it submitted. You'd think that would be the end of it, but you'd be wrong. In order to actually submit your inquiry you have to click a confirmation link in an email they send you, and that process is broken on their end. Good job guys. Obviously I gave you a non-existent email address because I don't really want a response.  Pinged them on X because that seemed faster than emailing UOC's IT department to tell them the email confirmation is broken. Don't expect to hear anything over the weekend but hopefully there will be an answer sometime Monday. 

If (and it's a still a big if) UOC takes the Unimarconi degree that would open a legitimate doctoral pathway from ENEB -> Unimarconi -> UOC for around $10k total. Assuming you finish the dissertation quickly enough and there aren't any hidden fees for non-Europeans, of course.

I doubt that most folks enrolled at ENEB even hold a bachelor's degree, so getting an Italian GMU degree probably isn't the walk in the park some make it out to be. 

By bachelor's, I mean a regular bachelor's, not a "UI1 masters" evaluated as a bachelor's, and NACES/ECE evaluations are clearly an American thing; most schools outside the USA will do their own evaluation...

I agree with the above post. It will NOT be a walk in the park. You're going right to the comprehensive exam, thesis and defense. I assume Unimarconi's business model is similar to ENEB's on this - the vast majority of people that pay will quit long before people at Unimarconi need to put anything close to €1k (I'm assuming ENEB is taking half of the money for funneling us there) worth of time into them.
