Mostly I created my own degree plans and asked my mentor to approve. For the new MSCSIA, there are only two courses without prerequisites. I was able to take those out of order, although my mentor had to get approval from his supervisor, but it's still possible.
I am not able to reorder any of my courses. My mentor brings in my next class. None of the courses in this master's have prereqs. Project Management is your last class. She said it's everyone's last class so that you can have time to study for the CAPM exam then complete the Capstone which does make sense. I'm not worried about what order the classes are in. I know some people really get upset if they can't control which class they take. I'm taking all of them at some point so whatever is my attitude.
