Tecep scholarship announcement- followed by takeback
#1
Has anyone gotten a notice of free TECEP tests "by mistake"? I've seen others post that they do free teceps sometimes. Got a message saying:   Congratulations on your admission to Thomas Edison State University! We are delighted to share more good news from TESU: You qualify to take up to two (2) TECEP exams at no cost for the April term!

Scholarship Terms:

This scholarship was made possible by the 'Some College, No Degree' Institutional Grant and is dependent on available funds for the April 2025 term, which begins Monday, April 7, 2025. Registration for the April term is open. First come, first served!

Please note: this scholarship can only be used for the tuition cost of up to two (2) general education TECEP exams in this term and is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Financial responsibility for any other courses registered outside of TECEP exams will be the financial responsibility of the student followed by a second email after I applied :
an email regarding a TECEP scholarship was unintentionally sent out earlier this morning. Please note that, if you received such email, it was sent in error and should be disregarded.
Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this may have caused
I am guessing it's a new students only offer? Would've been helpful when I started smh.

Received this email from TESU today. I previously applied to TESU but never attended. The wording suggests the free TECEPs are open to anyone, YMMV.

I hope this helps someone.

Yeah, I got the email and the takeback.

I only took one free TECEP when I enrolled, so I figured I'd try to see if it went through anyway.

Just curious... Did they take it back or did the TECEP order actually go through? I would guess they did take it back because of the email you received...
