https://andhrauniversityonline.in/intern...grams.html
At USD 255 for two years, this could be the most affordable Master's degree from an accredited Indian university for international students.
The proctored exam is online. The degrees available are:- Master of Commerce (M.Com) – specializations in: Management Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Strategy, Taxation Law, Auditing, Research Methodology, and Business Economics.
- Master of Arts — Political Science
- Master of Arts — Economics
- Master of Arts — English
- Master of Arts — Human Resource Management
- Master of Arts — Journalism and Mass Communication

I know a few of us have mentioned Andhra a few times over the years, but it's nice to see that they've finally added a distinct set of international offerings, just like IGNOU.
I would be curious to see what the admissions process is like, especially in regards to the degree equivalency process. Depending on how many degrees one has and needs to process, that might end up being more expensive than the full master's degree at Andhra!

I’m curious where you saw this info. When I looked at their website, it seemed there was a single MCom with fixed curriculum. Can you post the link for this?

Perhaps. I'm in the US and wasn't using a VPN/disguising my location. Perhaps they offer the MCom specializations to students outside the US.

Edit Reason: typo
)
An MA in Economics from a legitimate university is very much up my alley, so I got in contact with them. This was my experience so far:
To safeguard against getting scammed, I went to the university's official website ( https://www.andhrauniversity.edu.in/), navigated to the distance education section, and clicked on the MA in Economics link. That brought me to a separate website: https://andhrauniversityonline.in/.
At that point, I tried to apply but couldn't get past the first section because it requires an "ABC ID" and "DEB ID." After some googling, it seemed like if I wanted an ABC ID, as a non-Indian, I'd need to have the university generate one for me. So I went to the "contact us" section of the website mentioned above and found their WhatsApp number.
I contacted them and they got back to me, saying one of their enrollment agents would be contacting me shortly. They indeed did. I told this agent about my issue with the ID and they assured me this was no problem because as a foreign student, I don't need an ABC or DEB ID. They told me just to send the necessary information, and copies of my high school and undergrad diplomas, and passport, and he would fill out the application for me on his end. At this point, I became a bit wary. I clicked on his WhatsApp profile and his email is listed as being @ some staffing solutions company. In other words, he's not an employee of the university itself, but rather working for some staffing company that the university outsources this administrative work to.
As I mentioned above, the chain of custody, so to speak, was legitimate: official website --> distance education website --> university employee WhatsApp --> enrollment agent WhatsApp. Despite this, it felt like a pretty stupid move to send my passport information to a guy in another country through WhatsApp; especially since I could see he didn't even technically work for the university. I told him about my misgivings and asked if I could send these documents to an email address instead. He said that this was indeed possible, and gave me an email address which was (I assume) his name @ andrauniversityonline.in. Given that this URL matches the URL of the site linked to from the main university's website, that should assuage my fears...right? Well, I'm understandably concerned about identity theft so I'm still not sure if I'll actually send these documents, but it's possible.
Hopefully this information can be useful to other people who are interested in their programs.
As an aside: I also contacted Dr. M.G.R. Educational & Research Institute -- quite a mouthful -- because they have a similarly inexpensive M.Sc. in Statistics that I'm interested in, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I sent messages to two different WhatsApp numbers they have listed, and two different email addresses. If I ever hear back, I'll make a thread on my experiences and their answers to my questions which hopefully should be relevant to other non-Indian prospective students.

Thanks for being our guinea pig with Andhra, lemma!
Your experiences thus far have mirrored my own when reaching out to other Indian universities. Either they are incredibly quick to get in contact (preferring chat apps over official email) or they hardly respond at all, even if they advertise having distance or online learning opportunities.
I hope you hear back from Dr. M.G.R. Educational & Research Institute!

I hope you hear back from Dr. M.G.R. Educational & Research Institute! I felt that waiting for a reply to my pre-registration email was taking too long, so I contacted their online customer service directly to submit my application and complete the payment. I have already received the official payment receipt and registration information from the university. International students who have registered need the following documents:
