Howdy
Quick question. I have already earned my BLS with a marketing minor but just did a what if scenario and realized I have already completed the requirements for my BAdmin major. Do I have to enroll to be able to get it or can I just request it as I have completed all of the requirements.
Any help is greatly appreciated

You would apply and the credits that you have earned towards your first degree would then go to the next one.
There is only a one time requirement for 30 credits completed at UMPI for their undergrad programs. After that, you could technically transfer it all in. But still, you would have to apply for the program. You can earn the BA, but you gotta pay the price of admission. Same would apply if you wanted to get a third BA in another program like Psychology or History & Poli Sci. I've done this several times as you can see in my signature.

So even though I earned it last semester I would have to pay again? Shouldn't it have been a
Dual Baccalaureate? I just dont want to pay extra for what I have already earned....
Thank you so much for your help

Wow! That's a HUGE change from when I attended UMPI. I had to graduate and wait for my first bachelor's degree to be conferred. Then I had to reapply and take an additional 30 credits for my second bachelor's degree at UMPI.

A dual degree would be 2 degrees completed at the same time. You also have to be in both degree programs. It doesn't sound like you were in 2 degree programs at UMPI.

I've discussed about this before and people here in the forum were in disbelief that it was possible (which it was possible). I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that we didn't communicate this enough. I only had to do only a couple of courses for each degree after the BLS during which each degree only costed about $1,400 back then. I definitely got my money's worth. Other users have confirmed that it worked for them as well and I'm glad they were able to get their subsequent degree after that. I actually got pretty good at navigating UMPI that I even applied as an Academic Success Coach there, interviewed, was offered the job, but I couldn't do my active duty work at the same time while flying to UMPI every couple of months to do training. But that is neither here nor there. Now, the 2024-2025 catalog that Jonathan and I looked at has now been archived with this fall semester having relesased new information directing that students looking to do their next degree must complete back-to-back 30 credits respectively for each following degree. The previous 1 time 30 credit policy has now been put to rest. I was looking to do a 4th bachelors (which I might for their CS degree), but other options have been somewhat eliminated for ease.
