Hey Guys,
I just got back from the testing center, and received my final pass score for the three Clep tests I completed. That's another 9 s.h. I can add towards my degree completion :-)
Since the nearest testing center is a 2.5 hours drive from where I live, I also stayed a night at a Hotel. I spent 2 days for the exams (2 tests one day, the other the next..including study-time) and about 12 days prior of studying (about 2 hours a day). To my defense: I think my scores could have been a bit higher, if I had slept better. Sleep is important for testing!!!
I completed the following clep exams:
- Information Systems and Computer Applications (64)
- Principles of Management (61)
- English Composition w/o Essay (54)
The grades aren't top-scores, but who cares.. I passed
I must mention, however, that I found the wording of some of the questions kind of confusing. For my taste, a bit unnecessary. One should make sure you know your terminology and read the questions carefully.
Thanks to IC, this forum, and free-clep-prep for the helpful tips about different study materials.
I used REA Book, IC, and Peterson practice tests the English Comp. Comex Book, IC, and Peterson practice for the Management, as well as IC, Pearson and jan's computer help and the Peterson Computer help for the Informations test.
Next, I have two dsst's on my agenda. Management Information Systems & Business Ethics and Society. Anyone have some feedback on these perhaps?
