For anyone who reads this post (this is not specifically directed to the OP):

Study.com has something like 36 computer courses, and is letting a few expire because they are either not used much, not accepted many places, or both.  Study.com also has UL computer courses to meet the BSBA/CIS AoS or the BACS at TESU.  Sophia will not help you get either of those.

So my advice is to not take the expiring courses if you don't specifically need them for a degree (TESU hasn't taken any of these for years).  Otherwise, continue on with your plan.

And don't take advice from someone with very little experience with these courses or degree plans - like someone with only 25 posts in this forum.  You're much better off to look at people with thousands of posts instead.  Those are the people who have been around here for years, and have actually helped people get degrees.

This is confusing without more context about what your plan is and what it has to do with the information you shared.

Good points. It should go without saying, but you (and several others) are greatly appreciated for all that you do. I also like seeing regular updates on course availability and ACE recommendation status, whether or not they relate to my current or future goals.

Wow...I hope you're just having a bad day Danika because that was rude. I've actually helped thousands of students over the past 5 years (which doesn't matter, but you brought it up), and in the past few months, several computer classes have been denied by Excelsior and the students had to take additional classes to replace them. No one in the forum wants that to happen to them.

No idea who Danika is, but there's far more happening on here than Excelsior. TESU and UMPI accept Study courses. There are other schools that accept them as well. I'm not sure why you said not to take any computer courses from Study because that's odd advice as there are schools that accept these credits.

You told people not to do something, and I disagreed with you.  I actually think it's beyond rude to give bad advice here.

I agree that it's better not to take courses until you know that they will be accepted by your school - and since many of the schools and providers have agreements, and post them online, you're much better off to look at those, or try to get courses pre-approved than to just take things on a whim.  So, it may have been better for you to give that advice than "don't take Study.com computer classes" because that's just not the right thing to tell people.

I'm sure these are ACE-related - they want courses to have more assignments these days, as we've seen with Sophia.
