This may be a dumb question but are you supposed to click to get a badge for Credly on the Sophia courses when finished even if you are planning to use parchment to send your transcript to your receiving college? I mean can you or should you house them on both Systems of Ace through Credly and Parchment once ready to transfer the Sophia courses?

If you're planning to use Parchment to send your Sophia transcript, you don't technically need to bother with Credly. However, it's free to get your badges and transcripts there, and only takes a few minutes. I'd recommend you do it anyways just in case.

I get my badges after I chat with Sophia as was suggested in previous posts.
Before chatting with them, the "Get a Badge" text was not shown.

I know this is an old thread. I completed all my courses and transferred them to my school through the old ACE system. When Credly took over, I only received badges for my TEEX courses and CSM Learn. I did not receive badges for courses taken at Sophia, Straighterline, Study.com, and Coopersmith.
Do I have to contact each of those course providers to receive the badges? ... I don't really see any way of making this happen through Credly.

Coopersmith is NCCRS, so you can't get Credly badges for them.

yes, go through the original course providers. Coopersmith is NCCRS so won't be on Credly.
If you had the free ethics course from The Institutes, you're out of luck on that one because they refuse to participate in the new process.
