I enrolled at WGU and then switched to UMPI because it is a better fit for me. Neither of these admissions processes has been what I would call "seamless." Universities are governmental organizations that come with the bureaucracy and inefficiency associated with such.
There will be barriers that you will need to grind through regardless of school.
If you want the degree, you have to grind it out and get it done.
You can do it.

There are no truly seamless institutions, you can only do what you can to try and alleviate any possible issues that may arise. Apply to WGU, UMPI, TESU, any institutions that you may want to etc as it would be only the costs of transcripts (there are discounts or freebies currently for applications to a few institutions), you want to see which institution and degree will get you to your educational goal...
