Advice for 16-Year-Old Planning Fast Online Accounting Degree

Hello! I'm a high school student in the U.S., graduating at age 16 in early 2026. I'm looking to start an online university program closely after graduation and would really appreciate any advice or recommendations based on my goals and situation below:

• Your Location: United States
• Your Age: 16
• What kind of degree do you want?: Accredited bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Current Regional Accredited Credits: None
• Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None yet — planning to earn 90+ credits through Sophia.org & Study.com
• Any certifications or military experience?: None
• Budget: Under $12,000 total
• Commitments: Part-time job
• Dedicated time to study: ±5 hours/day
• Timeline: Ideally finish the full bachelor’s in 2 semesters or less (assuming I have the 90+ ACE/NCCRS credits)
• Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None

Additional Notes:
• I prefer self-paced schools, but it’s not required.
• I strongly prefer schools without proctored exams.
• My top priority is the fastest and most affordable online degree path that accepts ACE/NCCRS transfer credits.
• I plan to do masters in the future, and take the CPA exam.

Great introduction post with the addendum and template, it's good you've entered US in the location, but I was looking more into the State you're in, in addition to the country.

Each state has different discounts for their dual enrollment and institution tuition, fees, etc... At the time being, you can do the 90+ from Sophia.org and Study.com, but I'd throw in the freebies in the mix as well...
