Aleks - introduction to statistics

Hello to all! I just have a quick question regarding to this course. When I was studying the courses, I checked my report and I am at 59%. I am so excited when the assessment came up again. It's kind of tough to remember after I completed the topic and once assessment comes in, I am struggling answering it again. Once I completed this assessment, and it records what I actually "mastered" on my report. Let's say I got everything correct and stayed at 59%, then I do more topics and actually passed 70% without going thru another assessment, can I add this course on my ACE transcript or do I actually have to get another assessment and make it pass thru the 70% and records as "mastered".

Also, is there anyone who knows if ALEKS renewed their contract to ACE or it is still expiring at the end of the month? Thanks in advance!

Nope, and you will get assessments automatically (about every %10 or so). Once you overall is above 70% you can submit to ACE, it can be very quick (mine were usually within 24h). After I got one listed I started the next.

P.S. Banged out the Algebras rather quickly this way, I could only wish my first Business Stats one came out at %59

You can request a new assessment through your ALEKS master account, but you must have 70% on the blue line for it to count officially.

I will also say that ALEKS seems much more likely to believe that you have mastered a course once blue + green = 73 or 74%.

Yay! I finally finished this course. I'm glad that it was extended until the end of this month. I just had my baby girl last January 23 so it was tough to complete it as I do everything at home. My wife had a c-section so it is hard for her to move around the house. I have a week left before I go back to work. Waiting for ACE to add it on my transcript. Hopefully I can get another course done soon.
