Was studying IC cards and when I went to log out this was at the top of the page and the normal log out button is not there:

The logout button was there for me but the funky error message was as well. I clicked on it because it was a link and it took me to my PM box for the forums.... Weird...

Whoa! I didn't realize it before but there is more than just the logout button gone funky. The side bar that says the recent threads and who passed what test with what score is also gone.

I'm no expert on scripting and their errors. It's possibly a scripting error, but I think it is actually because your web browser is out of date.
I make my guess based on this plain english snippet:
"Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server"
Client = your computer
server = computer that the website is hosted on
according to this your computer is missing something the website needs to run the script. Consider upgrading your web browser and if you are using something besides Internet explorer try using it. On the flip side, if you are using IE, try firefox.
Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable
Just my best guess. Likely the webmaster didn't test a script tweaking in some browsers.

Thanks for the suggestion but since I teach at a technical school in my career field, and our technicians constantly update our browser (Internet Explorer) and we run the latest Java as well, this cannot be the case.
I think we need to bring this one to the webmaster's attention.
Everything seems to be working the same anyway.
