Anyone took or taking the marketing exam?

If you guys have any advice for me how to prepare for the exam will be appriciated, any links, books, web sites to use will be great

IC flashcards are sufficient to pass this exam, if you carefully go through them at least 6-8 times until you are scoring 90%+, and understand the concepts presented.

I'll be taking it in about 4 weeks. I have to knock out a couple other cleps before I take it though.

I was originally studying for the sociology exam but found out that I didn't need that class so I quickly shifted over to take the marketing exam. I pretty much followed the advice of the other test takers but really did not give myself enough time to study. I studying pretty hard for 2 days and went through all of the cards at least 2 times and tried to study the stuff that was not very familiar to me. I had already made my appt. and scheduled time off from work so I didn't want to mess that up. I figured I had nothing to lose if I failed, I could always take it again in six months.

But not to worry that did not happen. I was a little nervous at test time but once I got going I felt confident in what the IC flash cards taught me. They didn't cover everything but what system does. They taught me what I needed to know to pass and I passed with a 57. I know it's not the best but like everyone says here....a pass is a pass!!!!! Oh yeah. Next up is the management clep....any advice out there??? I will search the threads just like I did for the marketing.

This was my first clep so I am totally excited about the system and so are the 5 people I have told about it. They will be signing up soon. I'm hooked.

Way to go IC thank you. Can't wait for the game to come out.

REA CLEP Introduction to Marketting book worked for me.

It has a great background section, and 3 tests. I got a 73, which is well into the A range.
