I officially applied for fall 2 semester at UMPI. I went through the process following the instructions off the wiki to transfer my credits through Credly to UMPI's email, edocs@maine.edu. Is that it? Do I just wait till they contact me? Do I have to "enroll" with one of these annoying enrollment specialists that keep emailing me? Is there anything else I need to do?
One other slight hiccup I had was a course I took at Study.com, Business 209: Mentoring and Leadership Development, couldn't be transferred to Credly. That course according to SDC, is only recommender for NCCRS. Now I know UMPI doesn't accept NCCRS courses, but Bus. 209 according to both SDC and Mainstreet's transfer equivalency pages transfers in as Business 260: Leadership. How can I transfer it so I can at least attempt to get credit for it?
Thank you for any help I can get!

Once you submit all of your transcripts to U of M then you wait. It will take a few weeks for them to process your application and accept you. You're not completely enrolled until you sign up for classes through your academic advisor. But if you want to keep taking classes once you're accepted, you will need permission from your academic advisor. For the NCCRS Study courses, just submit a Study transcript. They won't show on Credly. You don't have to work with the enrollment specialists at all. They are third party sales people. They have nothing to do with actually enrolling. That's all through your academic advisor. A few weeks after you're accepted, your transcripts will be evaluated. You can keep checking your MaineStreet account for them. You'll also get a packet in the mail with the evaluation printed on bright orange paper.

You will receive an email when your MaineStreet account is ready. Once you get that email, you must sign up. THat's the only way you have access to your courses and UMPI email which you will need. You have to communicate with faculty and staff through your UMPI email.

They didn’t give me a student ID #, so how do I go about signing up? What gives?

Did you follow the instructions on how to sign up for a MaineStreet account? The student ID will always come separately. It's called security.

@P, hmm... it could be another email in your junk or spam filter, you may want to check those to see if something came in. They most likely have sent them in using a different email address. You may want to review your recent emails as it may have filtered somewhere - to be on the safe side, double check, if you've sent your info to them, they still need to evaluate everything, could be a delay...
