Never mind I’ll figure it out. I appreciate the help

Hmmm....there used to be an instruction email sent. From UMPI's website:

Activate UMPI Email and MaineStreet Portal

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to activate your maine.edu email account. You’ll use the MaineStreet Portal to receive important information about financial aid, campus housing, registration, billing and student services and to update your personal information. If you did not activate your UMS accounts when you applied, you’ll have to activate it now by following the instructions that were included in your “Thank you for Applying” letter. Questions? Can’t find the letter? Login not working? Call the IT Help Desk at 207-768-9626.

There should have been instructions in the email you got when you applied. And if you don't have it, you call the IT desk as it says above.

Ok I didn't contact IT, but I emailed UMPI. They sent me new instructions. Even though they said they had sent me that email on the 5th, I never received it. I checked my junk folder in my email, nothing. But anyway Ive successfully activated it, everything is all good. Thank you guys for the help!

I had an issue as well, didn't take the time to track it down - I called IT and they set everything up over the phone. Glad you were able to get it resolved.
