Are SAT's needed for Master Degree level
#1
I am currently working on my Bachelors degree and have never taken the SAT. I wasnt too sure if I didnt have to being in the Army or what. In two years I will be getting out of the Army and applying for Seminary which is Master Level. If anyone has any knowledge or advice it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey, I'm not sure about seminary, but none of the master's programs I looked into even asked about SAT's. Those are usually just used to gauge a students readiness and abilities for college level work. You will have already proved that with your bachelor's degree. I doubt it will be an issue. Good luck!

SAT's are for college entrance as a Freshman/undergrad. The equivalent examination for entrance into a Masters program would be the GRE.

[COLOR="Navy"]Correct on both, however I submit that neither are required at each and every school per se.

Question: Is the Seminary you are considereing accredited? I only ask as many religious (non-secular) schools are not required to be accredited (by a recognized USDoEd/CHEA accreditor) and thus may not even require the GRE.

Some schools require entrance tests and some don't. The schools that do require entrance tests will require the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, or MAT. GMAT is most common for business, LSAT is used for law school, MCAT is for medical school, and the GRE is most common for everything else. Some schools just require you to turn in a writing sample. SAT, ACT, Accuplacer, etc. are all for undergraduate programs. There are a lot of accredited schools that do not require entrance tests.
