Area of Study (AoS) at TESU

Hi everyone, I've learned a lot on this forum but one item I just picked up this week and am unfamiliar with is AOS or Area of Study. I know my AOS at TESU is going to be Accounting, and that I have to do certain courses to meet that requirement. But other than that, does this have any implications? I looked at TESU's website but it didn't seem to indicate anything restrictive.

As an example, assuming I meet all other requirements are there any specific rules around how/where AOS courses can be done ...

• How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: All credits in this area of study may be completed with Thomas Edison State University courses and/or exams.

The only real restriction I can think off is AOS courses have be atleast a C grade or Pass.

Depending on the AOS, courses within the AOS cannot be older than (IIRC) 7 years old. I think this is mostly for Comp Sci and not business. But I could be mistaken. For most students here, that's probably not even going to be an issue either way.

You must have 12cr of UL, the other 6cr can be LL. For accounting, since there are already 2 required LL courses, the remaining 4 must be UL.
