Question for anyone who's taken the Here's to Your Health test:
I'm hoping to take HTYH sometime at the end of the year. I haven't studied health since the health course I took in middle school; however, I took a Peterson's practice test the other day and scored 72%. Do you think I'm ready to take the test?
Thanks so much!

I haven't taken this particular DSST, but if you'd like to know if your on the right track check out the Specific Exam Feedback section here on IC. Lots of in depth study guides, help, and info for most exams. Also check out the DSST site - they usually have their own practice exams and study guides.
I don't know which particular school you're attending, or if this is an issue for you, but be aware that HTYH is no longer considered an Upper Level exam by DSST or Excelsior College.

I had planned on using this exam as my final UL elective, but despite it being listed in the EC catalog as an UL course, they no longer accept is as such...For me this was definitely :ack: news!
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

I've read before that it's best to take a test after you've done a practice test and have gotten a 90% ... This might be a good time to spend more time studying the parts you missed. The last thing anyone wants is to take a test and fail it.
I would check also and make sure the test works for your college.
Good luck!

No, getting a 90% on a Peterson's practice test is not necessary at all. A 72% on a Peterson's practice test is a very good score. Time to stop studying and take the real test, assuming all you need is a pass. If you are going to convert your score into a letter grade and an A is your goal, maybe a little more study time would be good.

From the feedback, the NTYH exam varies from version to version. My was very heavy with neurobiology.
