Audit and Taxation online

Hi Does anyone know and can advise online affordable 8 weeks( or so , maybe credit by exam) audit and taxation courses at any regionally accredited universities (or exam providers)? I need to add extra courses for CPA education requirements but a lot of it are either long or around $1500 per course which is almost a term fee for some universities. Thanks

TESU has a TECEP titled ACC-421-TE Federal Income Taxation. I'm not sure it would work for you but it is only $225. Here is the information with syllabus so you can get try to get it approved. https://www2.tesu.edu/tecep.php?CourseCode=ACC-421

It is credit from an RA college it just shows up as a pass/fail grading so hopefully it would work.

Thanks a lot. It will do. Do you have any info on audit courses? I tried to find but most of them are $1500 which is tooooo much considering you can pay for term with that amount.

Just so you know, the Federal Income Taxation TECEP allows for use of a tax textbook or guidebook on the exam. There are extensive discussions of this exam on this forum, so a few searches would be very helpful to you. I studied hard for a couple of weeks and then just took the TECEP with a JK Lasser book. That was enough for me. It is very important to get to know the book before the exam. Understanding the table of contents and index is key. Also, there were essays, so writing/typing ability is an advantage.

There is at least one auditing course at Defense Acquisition University. They seem to be fairly generous in giving login credentials.
