Poneill, thanks so much for the informative post and good luck. Wouldn't your degrees be two separate ones rather than a"dual" degree? And would you not have to complete one degree first and then accumulate 24 new credits for the second one?

Resurrecting this older thread to ask if anyone has anything else to share about their experience with this degree? I start my first Statistics.com course in a few weeks. I haven't found a lot of reviews on people's experience in these courses.

many courses from statistics.com are really easy

Introduction to Python for Analytics
R Programming - Introduction 1
R Programming - Introduction 2
R Programming - Intermediate
SQL - Introduction to Database Queries

the sql and python course are just too simple

both of the R intro courses were simple, and kind of fun and interesting
the R intermediate course was ridiculously difficult
I did not know enough statistics when I took that course
there was no statistics review or R review -- they just assumed you knew the basic/intro stuff
I passed with a very good grade, but had to spend many nights searching youtube and google trying to figure out the math for a particular statistical concept

I tried the R advanced -- had to quit the 2nd week -- had no idea what they were talking about

Introduction to Python/R/SQL were easy as I already had some basic experience with python and SQL.
Of all courses I think Forecasting Analytics and the predictive analytics series required more time and work to understand

You have book costs for courses that require them. On the Intro Statistics course you have the option of using excel, statcrunch or R, if you choose statcrunch it will cost $13 for a 6 months subscription
