BSBA CIS Specialization and 100-level Courses
#1
Does anyone know if a 100-level course can be used in the CIS specialization? Other than Systems Analysis and Design for which I haven't found an alternative for, I'm trying to fill in the last 3 credits for my BSBA in CIS test out plan. I'm wondering if the new TECEP for CIS-107 can be used.

When I got an evaluation, they put my CIS-102 course in business electives. It makes me wonder if the course has to be 200-level or higher in order to be placed in the area of specialization. Only 12 of the credits have to be 300/400 level. I think the programming requirement can be 100-level.

I am not sure - these were the only 100 level classes I had, all the others were 200 or higher.
