Graduate Certificates for career change
#1
What are some of the best graduate certificates available for a career change? It doesn't matter what field, if possible it would be nice to keep costs on the lower end. National vs Regional accreditation is not a concern. Just trying to expand my horizons. Thanks.

not really inexpensive -- but all can transfer into their masters program if you ever want

From what I've gathered previously, most NA & RA graduate certificates are more expensive than a grad degree at Hodges, Patten or WGU.
Further to that, it's a certificate that's "half" a course load as a masters, why not spend the time to finish up a Masters instead of being "halfway".

Just checked out your signature, I don't see any certs, you may have a few, but I see you've got a degree after degree, go for the Masters!
Patten has 7 different concentrations for their MBA, including Health Care. WGU has a few as well, also has one for Health Care Management.

Weeeeeeelllllll, it sort of does matter what field. Smile If you're thinking of changing careers, what directions interest you? Staying in healthcare? Management? Research? Something completely new? A graduate "certificate" in a new, random direction may seem awkward on your resume unless you can explain exactly how it's going to help you. Are you thinking something skill-based (coding, writing, accounting), or more academic (history, literature, math)? What do you want to be when you grow up? (There's no wrong answer, but you *should* at least *have* an answer. You can always change it later.)
