Ok I have 9 credits in business that I recieved D;s as a grade. I want to know if I can use these 9 credits at TESC as business electives? I called and spoke to an advisor but she was unsure and told me to e-mail
info@tesc.com. I figure I could get a reply faster from one of you .

Most schools will not transfer D grades but I don't know about TESC. I know at EC and at the school I work at we don't accept anything lower than a C in transfer. You may be able to test out and use some DSST and CLEP exams to replace those credits. If they won't take them in transfer it wouldn't duplicate the credit.

At TESC, any courses that are considered part of your Major/Core/Area of Study have to have a grade of C or better. My son had a C- in a core course and had to retake it. If you are talking about applying the 3 D's as electives within the BSBA program, then you are out of luck. Now those same D's could be used as free electives as part of your overall degree, but they can't be used within a Major/Core/Area of Study.

It looks like it depends on the situation. For transfer courses, ECEs, and UExcel exams, the answer is no. For EC courses, the answer can be yes. For more details, check the latest Student Policy Handbook around page 50. It can be found in "Downloadable Documents" and "Handbooks".
