It depends on the program you are looking at within WGU. Different degree programs have different transfer guidelines, which is somewhat of a quirk of WGU.
They accept both DSST and CLEP in a general sense, however. If you can give the degree program, we can be more helpful.

They took CLEP Eng. Comp. with essay and DSST Tech Writing w/o essay for the BSCSIA if that helps.
