CLEP Humanities Exam

Hello. I am preparing to take the CLEP Humanities exam and I'm wondering if going through the practice test on InstaCert is sufficient to be able to pass. Any helpful hints are appreciated!!

I would suggest that you do the following:

1. Look through the specific exam review section (main page menu) and look for the exam you're interested in.

2. Use the "search feature" to look for additional info on the exam you need.

3. Follow the Shoto-Advice below.

4. For the humanities exam I would also use either the COMEX or REA books (or both) if needed; the COMEX book is a winner for this exam.

Thank you for the insight - I will keep all that in mind. I have passed the Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP - Is this much different (other than covering a wider range of topics?)

I took this one a few years back and I remember having a lot questions on art, paintings and Greek Sculptures, a art book with a combo of the periods with types of style and WITH THE BIG NAMES IN ART will help you alot.


I really do not remember seeing any questions on there like A&I Lit, which I took today and felt really clueless on. It only had about 4-6 questions on Literary Terms, everything else was read and analyze what the passage was saying. It could have been in Chinese for all I know.
