Pretty straight up and ask for it but be courteous - I would be honest and email them asking about a 10% discount indicating that I've taken course at Sophia/Study.com and so on, they have a discount for people who have taken StraighterLine too, so it all depends on which providers you have taken the courses from, you need to take 4 courses through each of the providers (it says on StraighterLine's page)

For sure. I'll ask during the undergraduate open house and I'll let y'all know what they say. It is probably only for new students anyway, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Just a little update: I passed Sophia College Algebra! Thank you very much to everyone for giving me that suggestion and support, and especially @raycathode for the extra push that it could be done.

All I have left to do is re-apply and take my Capstone!

There is the undergraduate open house 02/23 that waived the application fee, so I’m going to wait to apply until then. My situation is a little different since I was dismissed the first time. I have to petition the provost and prove to them that I can be successful this time. Not a big deal. It’s been 6 years and I’ve gotten so many credits from Sophia, SDC, CSM, and even CLEP since then. I’ve done training work in Rwanda and received numerous professional awards and certifications in that time. Plus, I’ve started pre-writing my Capstone paper, so I’ll have a draft of that to send along. I don’t foresee any problems.

I did have a question about the Sophia discount for tuition. I couldn’t find information anywhere on the site about it. Does anyone have a link they could share about that policy at COSC? Is it something that is added automatically or do I need to check a box in the application or what?

Do you have the required RA credits completed? Sounds like you've done quite a bit since you left COSC.

Yeah, I sure do. I have 82 RA altogether.
