I don't see anything called a matriculation fee in the COSC catalog, yet I "googled" COSC and read a review which said there is a $1000 (around there) matriculation fee. I don't know what matriculation is. I understood there would be a $75 application fee and thought they evaluated our plan with that. I didn't see a charge for enrolling other than $228 per semester for non residents. There is also $322 per credit hour for the cornerstone and the capstone, and the graduation fee. What am I missing?

Matriculation is nothing more than signing up for the school, enrolling. Charter Oak did away with their annual enrollment last year and now charges per semester as you indicated. $228 plus $75 enrollment plus any tuition...and there is a graduation fee of $205.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Does that mean that if I wanted a bachelors from COSC, the costs would be as follows? $75 application fee, $228 to enroll (for one semester as one could test out of most courses) and six times $322 for corner- and capstones, and then $205 for graduation? (Would it be possible to do both corner- and capstones in one semester?) I'm still planning on enrolling at TESC, but I'm curious. If that is the case, would that make COSC the cheapest of the Big 3 for an associates degree?

I think I read on this forum that it is not possible to take the cornerstone and capstone in the same semester at COSC; however, the associate degree only requires the cornerstone and does not require the capstone course. Yes, the price has improved, which is good news.

I believe they are letting you take corner and cap in the same semester now...but as NAP mentioned only the corner is required for an associates....COSC is cheaper than the other two by around $1000 for a bachelors even with taking 6 credits in residence.
