Calculator that changes CLEP score to a percentage!!
#1
I've been searching around for something to convert CLEP scores to percentages/vice versa and I found this spreadsheet: https://docs.zoho.com/sheet/published.do...9c7bb7d56e.
Maybe you already know about this, but this is definitely new to me!

I'm not sure if it's accurate, but if it is, I think it could be really useful! Any thoughts?

It's not accurate. I used the published values that some of us saw about 4-5 years ago. The calculator was off by as much as 10%. On two tests, it came up with a 55 instead of a 50 when the raw score was entered.

I don't see the point. Why do you want such a calculator?

I am guessing they want a calculator to tell them how many they need to get right to pass. I don't think this calculator is very accurate. I plugged some of my scores in and the percentages I was seeing did seem right. This calculator may give you a small idea of how many to get right but I definitely would not bring this to the bank and cash it because it will likely bounce.

Also you will notice the calculator tells you that you need 50% for a 50 if you go right in the middle. This is NOT true.

OK. That's good to know.
I was just curious what my grade would have been taking the same test on a normal percentage scale.

Thanks.
