Can I get a bachelor degree this year?
#1
I live in Japan and i completed like 90% of my bachelor degree. but for some reason i stopped there.
but now i want to finish my bachelor degree THIS YEAR.
I heard that it is possible to get a bachelor degree in 1 month from BIG3. Are they the only institutions which make it possible?
So do you think if i register this month and i work hard, i can get a bachelor degree this yeah? I need to submit the transcript to an institution by mid January.
If this is possible, which university and which course would be the fastest and cheapest? My major was economics so i have business, financial related credits.

There is a possibility that you could complete the requirements for a degree by the end of the year, but it would not be conferred for several months.

The fastest option would most likely be a BSBA from TESC but it's also dependent on the credits that you already have. Could you list the courses that you already taken.

Deadline for graduation application is January 1st for a March Graduation. This means you must complete and have evaluated (or be REALLY REALLY close) all courses/tests and prior transcripts. The only way to possibly make your deadline is a BSBA from TESC since the capstone can be taken as a TECEP or possibly transferred in from a different school. TESC takes about 6 weeks to process any transcripts that come in and with the holidays approaching I forsee a longer wait time. If you apply and enroll today you will be cutting it very close, especially depending on the credits that are still needed. I will also add that even if you don't get your degree conferred and or graduation application in on time you can request a letter from the school stating that you have met all the requirements for graduation.

thanks. one more question.
as far as i researched, in addition to testing fee, it seems there is annual fee and it is around $3000.
all 3 colleges charge annual/enroll fee as high as this?

The two other schools do not have near as high of an enrollment fee, but you will be required to actually take classes instead of just testing out through that school which will prolong your graduation date.

If you already have over 90 hours in actual classwork (not CLEP or credit by exam), you should also look at a Bachelor of General Studies from Athabasca University in Canada. Their BGS is 90 hours and requires no Capstone, and costs around $1600 US. Here's a link:
General Studies : Undergraduate Programs : Undergraduate Calendar 2013|14 : Athabasca University

What classes do you already have?
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits

defscarlett, thanks for the info.
KayV, thanks for the info on another university. The cost seems reasonable. I will research more about them.

Unless you already have a lot of business credits, this is not going to be possible for 99% of the human population. The BSBA in General Management at TESC would be the easiest to test out of.

If you can manage to fit 8 TECEPs in there, you won't have to pay the $3,062 enrollment fee.
