Changes at TESU?
#1
Hi! I’m working on a bachelors in business management at TESU using the study.com route. This forum has been an incredible resource to help me navigate all of this. I’ve taken 8 classes on study.con and only have about 8 more to go! I love the platform- resting out of a bulk of the course and then watching the video lessons at 2x speed makes it easy to complete a course in about 8 hours.

I’m wondering if anyone has heard any talks of changes at TESU or with the partnership they have with study.com

I spoke to my academic advisor at TESU last week and asked her if she recommended I send in my transcripts from Study.com now to lock in my progress and then send them in again. She strongly encouraged me to do this and mentioned hearing talks of changes - but didn’t say what these changes were. She said they were good changes.
I know TESU has beefed up their cornerstone requirement starting this June. Does anyone know what could be in store for TESU in the future? Could the talks of a merge with Rutgers be back on the table?

The changes are likely the same changes we usually see -- higher prices. Some catalog adjustments/requirements changes.

It's also possible that their discount/partnership with Study.com won't be renewed. Not that they would stop taking their courses, but possibly no longer offering the tuition reduction.

I imagine if TESU and Rutgers were considering anything again, we'd be hearing a lot about it.

Since you have to send your Study.com courses to TESU directly from Study.com anyway, and it's free, you might as well do it now. I'd also sign up to take the 1cr cornerstone if you don't have the waiver in place.
