Actually, I doubt they would deduct points from our score, after the fact, because it could have a negative effect on our degree status. They will inform us of a higher score though, because it could have a positive effect on our degree status.
I don't think they have anything to lose by informing us that we scored HIGHER. Nobody will complain if they ADD points to our score. However, if they start taking points away from us, after the fact, they would open themselves up to lawsuits and a very angry customer base.
I have no evidence to support this theory. So I could be totally wrong.
