Hi, i am in serious need of how to complete my associates degree with Charter Oak State College. I am in the military and I have taken quite a few Clep and Dantes tests for promotion points. The credits that I have so far are:
DANTES
Principles of Supervision
Introduction to Law Enforcement
Criminal Justice
Personal Finance
Introduction to Business
Introduction to Computing
Human Resource Management
Introductory Sociology
Fundamentals of Counseling
Information Systems and Computer Applications
CLEP
Principles of Marketing
Analyzing and Interpreting Literature
Introductory Psychology
History of the U.S. I
Principles of Management
Principles of Supervision
I was wondering if I were to take the following classes if they would be enough to satisfy the degree requirements for an associates at COSC, through SL, Study.com, CLEP and Dantes:
English Composition I
English Composition II
Introduction to Communications
Introduction to World Religions
Business Ethics
American Government
Money and Banking
Thank you for any assistance that you can provide.

Short Answer: No. Long Answer: Missing Math and two Science courses
See Associates of Science Requirements: Gen Ed https://www.charteroak.edu/catalog/curre...ements.cfm
You can check the COSC Master Exam list for tests: https://www.charteroak.edu/exams/exams-master-list.pdf
If you are going to further your education and ladder into a Bachelors at COSC or another place, I recommend this:
1) Use ALEKS for your Math courses, ie: take Beginner/Intermediate/College Algebra or more at $20/month
2) Use Saylor and Straighterline for your science courses, ie: Biology, Microbiology or Environmental Science, etc
3) Check this thread for info: http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...llege.html

You will also need to take the Cornerstone class at COSC. On the bright side, your military specialty should count for credits as well.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

Does TESU require either a Cornerstone or Capstone course?

Yes, TESU does, but for the BSBA you can test out of the Capstone. The Cornerstone is being implemented on May 25.

The TESU Cornerstone is a one-credit online course for $300. You cannot test out of it, but it doesn't sound too terrible.

Thank you all for your advice. I think that I am going to enroll in TESU, due to it being more cost effective.

With the ASBA at TESU, there is a cornerstone but no capstone. Unfortunately though, I think the $2000 residency waiver is a hinderance - not so much for a BA/BS, but definitely for the AA/AS. Too expensive.
