Computer Tests Question
#11
I took MIS without the other computer exams and did fine with about 4-5 days prep. Quite frankly I'm not well versed with all the techy terms. I use a computer and teach online classes and know some various software programs, but I'm not a computer expert by a long shot. I think you will do fine with MIS without the other exams first.

I was horrible about not taking advantage of grouping my exams, so I basically did it all wrong and still passed so you should too! I agree grouping the exams would be easier, but I just had a list and just plucked away, leaving the harder ones till the end, I don't recommend that to anyone, too stressful! Good luck, you will do fine! Keep us posted!

LOL.. This is exactly what I've done. I started off my testing with the ones that interested me most. Then, I tried to meet the COSC general ed requirements. All of the sudden, I have just a handful of tests left and they are some of the hardest ones!

Thanks for the info about MIS as well. I have gone through the IC cards, did a Petersons, and then Phillip sent me 28 pages of notes. I am still nervous, but I am pretty sure (knock on wood) that I should at least be mostly prepared Tuesday morning.

If I pass the MIS, I am going to take Intro to computing right afterwards just for the heck of it. DS wants to take it so I would love to see how difficult it is.

Thanks everyone for the help! I passed with a 446! .. I felt so good about MIS that I sat for Intro to Computers immediately afterwards. I only got a 432 on it, a little embarrassing considering how easy it was, but not bad because I took it pretty much cold. 6 credits in about an hour, which was about the time it took me to take both.
