I personally wasn't implying there was anything wrong with a GED; but there's no need to take the exam if you already have (or have earned) a high school diploma! It's not like it's free to take.

Thats my thinking too. I dont want to have to take the GED if I dont have to. My highschool diploma is just as good as the GED and a regular highschool diploma.
