DPU India - Online Programs
#1
Main default webpage mentions they're "Approved" and work In Collaboration with Edx - Cool!
Here is their fees page, amazingly cheap for international students even! $2700 for BBA or MBA!
I think it's USD but the site doesn't say! Link: DY Patil College MBA Fees Structure

Note: The institution has several divisions or butt-in-seat schools, the Business division is currently the only one offering online certs/courses and degrees.
Study.com Offer https://bit.ly/3RTJ3I9

Pre-Med Online, MSc Biomedical Sciences (Starting Jan 2026)
In Progress: UoPeople BS Health Science

Completed: UMPI BAS & MAOL (2025)

Some semantics problems here - that were discussed on the other forum.

First: the school is properly credentialed for India - UGC, AICTE etc. No problem there.

The school says its degrees are 'approved' by WES. That is incorrect and (dys)functionally meaningless. WES does not accredit or approve institutions. Each degree is individually evaluated. If they mean their degrees generally get good evaluations from WES they should say so. (They should probably say nothing at all, or WES might object.) To say what they said, signifies the school may lack proper knowledge or that they may be deliberately deceptive.

We shouldn't have to scan their statements word by word, creating and ascribing meanings that may/may not be there. This is NOT the Bible

The school is a Vidyapeeth and that's what will appear on your diploma. I know what a Vidyapeeth is (basically a college - and this one is a deemed University per UGC.) I'm fine with "Vidyapeeth" - but will anyone over here be - other than "foreign-degree-wonks" in forums and first-generation Indian immigrants? A degree you have to explain may be a burden.

Even at $2,700 - the school should be able to tell it like it is. Other good Indian distance schools (e.g. Assam Don Bosco) can. $300 more will pay for a degree from Hellenic American U. (RA -you won't need a Foreign Degree evaluation.) I think it's worth it.

I hope:

(1) You are enjoying the program. How has it been so far? Any comments?
(2) That the degree works well for you, where you live, or want to use it after graduation. Do you live in India? Elsewhere?

That does seem like a very affordable program for Indian Civilians and/or International Students... Yes, please tell us more about the program when your semester ends and you've got the free time! The tuition is linked on the first post, I really do wonder if the "pay in one installment can apply to international students". I highly doubt it, the International Student tuition for $2700 is already an amazing deal for an MBA!

California is where I live. During my visit to India, I enrolled for the degree using my Indian ID card. As a result, I pay in INR. It is a good program, but the challenge is the exam at 3 a.m. - 5 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
