I don't know for sure. The previous three DSST's I have taken have all been paper and pencil.

well after reading all these posts i decided to take the test "cold" call it jumping into or what not but i also practically the same thing with freshman college comp. too (score 52). i didn't really care if i got an "A" or not, i just wanted to pass period, considering that at the school i want to attend i just get a PASS for any credit, so i really did'nt care. i passed. the test was given on a computer, very easy userface i thought and i took it at the local community college. i scored a 49 and the passing score was a 45. i concur with some of the other posts saying to remember key supreme court cases, amendments and the fbi ucr thing, the other things on the tests like police structure, police- community relationships and things like that are probably stuff you could find on wikipedia or on the internet. overall i would have to say that its easy, most is just common sense, its multiple choice so if you can take away 2 out of the 4 wrong answers it 50/50.
