Hi all - I have just one DSST exam for which I need RA credit. Would a TESU "credit bank" transcript show actual credit hours, or would it just list the exam name and the score?
Also, are TESU "credit bank" transcripts *official* transcripts?
(None of my local colleges are awarding credit for Business Ethics, which is a shame. The test was not easy!)
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Hi Kelly!
Yes the TESU credit banking transcript is official but it only will state how many credit hours with no grade but rather CR for credit.
Hope that helps!

That's great news! I only need it to show 3.0 hours earned, no letter grade needed.
Thank you!

It will clearly state that it was a DSST exam and not TESU credit, so if the school you're trying to transfer it to doesn't accept DSST exams, this will probably be a waste of money.

I need 3 hours of Business Ethics in order to take the CPA exam; I
believe my state board accepts DSST, but it has to show 3.0 semester hours of college credit, not just the DSST score.
Thank you for the feedback - much appreciated!

If they require just 3 credits on a RA college transcript, you should be good to go. I had to do the same thing for additional state certification and they just needed to see the amount of credits earned and that it was on a RA transcript. Obviously though, double-check with the state but I think you should be good to go =)

Cool, that should work then as long as the board accepts DSST. Bummer that your your local colleges couldn't save you some money.
