Has anyone attempted this test? I've taken all of my upper level management systems courses, and have passed, but I don't want to assume this is an easy test based on those course/tests.
I purchased the textbook and have downloaded the course materials, but I don't see anything about essays. Are they difficult?
Thanks for your input!

No idea on Davar, but my husband took the DSST and thought it was easy (and out-of-date).

Thanks, dfrecore! This might be the way to go if the Davar exam proves to be difficult. The book looks like material I already know, but I'm a nervous test-taker, and you never know. Great to have backup options.
Thanks again for this list.

Do you have IT experience? If you do, I would go for the DSST. Get the flash cards and the study guide, dig in and then take it. It was not hard.

This was my post the day after taking the exam:
"I took CIS 315 today. That's Management Information Systems. I feel reasonably good about my chances of passing. I think that the exam is of moderate difficulty. I wanted to get this exam in today, so I kind of skipped memorizing the lists from the powerpoint and I think that was a mistake because there were three or four questions, including essays which made memorization of the lists necessary. One in particular asked for a nine part answer from one of the lists with two examples for each. Monster question. My guess is that I'll end up in the low to mid 70s. Cross my fingers. I believe that this meets one of the BSBA requirements."
I ended up scoring a 70, which made it more difficult than the average Davar exam. I did not study the book, but the lists in the powerpoint are important and there are essays.

I took it and did well. I'm sure I posted some thoughts on it in that big Davar thread (which I posted in many times), and possibly a little more on my TESU Journey thread.
