Looking for some advice on cheapest/quickest/easiest BA/BS, and Sophia/STUDY/etc classes to knock out along the way.
GF is currently in our local community college, but I positive she’ll fizzle out before transferring to CSU, so I’m trying to give her an alternative route. Looking for something she could knock out quickly as soon as she’s done with her AA, and online stuff to knock out between now and then to set her up for it.

Here’s where she stands:

A bachelor of liberal studies, BLS, is a option for you?
UMPI seems a place to go.
Classes are quite varied, which will fit in a BLS.
Are you interested in healthcare? aiming at something specific after finishing the degree?

I was sort of thinking a LS would be her quickest route, but open to suggestions. She use to work in medical and wants out of it.

Oh, sorry, I misread that as "she works in medical and wants a degree out of it". That's quite a bit different.

In that case, Liberal Studies can work. But, depending on what she wants to do next, a BABA from UMPI or a subject degree from TESU could be other options. Either could be almost as fast and easy as Liberal Studies, depending on your perspective.

Your GF is the same age as me! I turn 45 in a month... anyways, continue on with the AA at the community college level and transfer into a Big 3 if she's into more self paced studies and maximizing her alternative credit transfers. She can go for a BSGS at COSC, or she can ladder that up to a BSLA at Excelsior, by completing 60 ACE credits. If competency based education is more preferred, then go for a BAS or BLS at UMPI...

One more thing to note, forget the Sanford Brown credits, these are not transferable, I believe the program is not accredited. Don't even look at them and worry about transfer options, look forward to completing the degree instead of focusing on transferring, other credits into the program. If you really want to get the credits, PLA is an option. Link: https://www.inquirer.com/business/studen...90421.html

If she wants to maximize the credits from Sanford-Brown, then her best bet is EC; S-B is an NA school, and EC will take NA credits, while TESU and UMPI won't.

Take a look at EC's BS in Liberal Arts; TESU's BA in Liberal Studies; and UMPI's BLS degrees. All are good options. EC will give you a free app if you bring in a course from Sophia, Study.com, Saylor, SL, or OnlineDegree.

I would apply to all 3 and see what they'll bring everything in as. Once you see all of your options, you can then make a better decision about which is your best option for fast/cheap/easy.
