I'm trying to formulate a degree plan based on BLS Management degree in the wiki. I have a few questions and hoping someone can clarify a few things as the UL and GEC requirements from UMPI make my eyes twitch. Assuming one takes all the Sophia.org courses that transfer(56 elective credits), the instantcert for Spanish 1, the Biology Lab and Poli Sci from SDC, one would still have to fulfill 21 UL credits(24-3 for Sophia BusLaw), 12 core/minor credits(18-6 for Sophia Comm at Work and Proj Manag) plus the 2 Eng. Comps and HUM 103 - Creative Decision Making from UMPI. That would leave about 42 total credits from UMPI? Am I off base or missing something here? Thanks.

It's somewhat hard to read from a sentence. Here's how you have it broken down...
The calculations are off and you may want to change the numbers around.
56 credits (transfer electives)
10 credits (Lab/Language, etc)
21 credits (UL)
12 credits (core/minor)
9 credits (2 Eng/Hum)
42 credits (what you think remains)
Total: 150
So, my only advice is, you need to clear this up! Here's a thread with a plan, you may want to follow exactly that or customize it to your own.
I would read this post and the post#29 after it: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid365771

Thanks for you reply. Still way too confusing for folks looking for the basic answers. How many credits needed? How long will it take? How much will it cost?

120 credits
Length of time varies. Depends on how long it takes you to complete the ACE courses and then the UMPI courses. Most are completing UMPI in 2-3 sessions when transferring in 90 credits.
$1400 per 8 week session

How many credits completed at UMPI after transferring in 90? Should be a fairly simple question. However, that depends on how many UL's they've transferred in right? Also depends on whether their transferred credits satisfy GEC requirements or not. For the average person trying to see if UMPI is even an option worth looking into, it's way too complicated. Even the Wiki admits how ridiculously complicated GEC is. Thanks for the help.

You have to complete a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI.
120 - 90 = 30
It's not that complicated. I did it twice. It all depends on what you transfer in.

What transfers in as UL and what matches GEC. Clear as mud : ) I'd be looking at 42 needed at UMPI. 21 as UL electives. Are folks taking 2-3 sessions to get through 30? Ballpark on how many sessions to get through 42?

Ballpark on how many sessions to get through 42? I transferred in 44 from community college and another 60 from SDC. After evaluation, that left me with 27 credits required for my degree (a BA rather than a BLS), plus an additional 3 credits for the residency requirement (30 credits total). In two sessions, I finished exactly 42 credits. I finished my requirements after about 1.5 sessions and took some extra classes for fun (three of the four UL). Some people are faster, some are slower. I majored in History and did a lot of writing (something like 80,000 words total); other majors or minors may be less writing intensive.
I began the process on SDC last September, doing five classes per month, and started at UMPI in January. Did two sessions to finish in May. All told about eight months to complete 102 credits, including 42 at UMPI.
So it's doable (but I didn't find it easy).

Here is a link to a prior post for the same BLS minor Management. This should help you to see what you should have left. You can transfer 90 units and must complete a minimum of 30 at Umpi.
